Timelapse: Huge Temporary Pool Constructed for Swimming Championship

Timelapses of pool construction are always interesting, but recently Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas created one that was quite unique. In preparation for the International Swimming League Grand Final that took place on December 20-21, 2019, they assembled an entire 25-meter pool inside their event center. Check out the video below:

During the event, the top four teams battled it out to win the world championship. In the end, Sarah Sjostrom was named Season MVP, and her Swedish team, Energy Standard, won the grand finale. American Caeleb Dressel of the Cali Condors was a close second for Season MVP and was crowned Finals MVP of the two-day event.
