As spring break quickly approaches, it becomes harder and harder not to think about vacation. So, where can you go on a last minute trip? Here are five breathtaking pools all located within a day’s drive of our hometown.

Enchantment Resort – Sedona, AZ

With only a short drive north of Phoenix, you can find the first pool on our list at the Enchantment Resort in Sedona, Arizona. Their recently renovated pool is the perfect place to enjoy the sites of Sedona with a complete 360-degree view of the impressive rocky landscape.

Glenwood Hot Springs Resort – Glenwood Springs, CO

If you are interested in a unique pool experience, why not visit the world’s largest hot springs pool? Only a 10-hour drive from Phoenix, this resort uses the nearby Yampah Springs to supply the water for its two steamy mineral pools, one of which measures more than two city blocks

The Joule – Dallas, TX

For those who aren’t afraid of heights, Dallas’s The Joule has an infinity pool that doesn’t just look like it goes on forever—it actually juts out 2.5 meters past the building’s outer wall. If you’re brave enough, you can swim to the edge and look down on Main Street from 10 stories above.

Golden Nugget – Las Vegas, NV

Leave it to Vegas to give you an experience like none other. At the Golden Nugget‘s $30 million pool, you can literally swim with sharks in a pool with a 200,000-gallon aquarium in the middle. Of course, you will be safely separated by a secure pane of glass, but you can get a closer look by traveling down a special three-story waterslide and rushing straight through the tank.

Chase Field – Phoenix, AZ

Although the idea started off as a joke, the RAM Trucks Pool at Chase Field is real. And what better way is there for a diehard baseball fan to enjoy than the game than by relaxing in a pool behind right field? Instead of traveling, you and your friends could rent watch the game here when the regular seasons kicks off at the end of the month.
